Seating information
Majestic Theatre - San Antonio in San Antonio, TX is a historic 2,264-seat performing arts theatre located at 224 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78205. It hosts Broadway productions, concerts, comedy, dance, family events, talks, and special theatrical performances. It is not a regular sports venue, so fans should treat it as a theatre-style seating layout rather than an arena or stadium.
The main seating levels are Orchestra, Suites, Mezzanine, and Balcony. For Broadway, theatre, comedy, and most concerts, we usually recommend the center Orchestra or the front-center Mezzanine. Center Orchestra seats give fans the closest balanced view of the performers, while front Mezzanine seats can be better for seeing the full stage picture, choreography, lighting, and set design.
Fans looking for the most affordable seats will often look at the Balcony, but the rear Balcony can feel far from the stage. We would be careful with far side Orchestra, extreme side Mezzanine, rear Balcony, or any seat marked as limited view, especially for Broadway shows with large scenic elements.
For concerts, the best seats depend on the production, but center Orchestra and front Mezzanine are usually the safest choices for sound and sightlines. For sports-style or special events, we should check the event-specific map because the Majestic is a theatre, not a sports arena.
ADA seating is located on the Orchestra level. There is an elevator to the Suites, Mezzanine, and Balcony levels, but stairs are required to access all seating on those levels. The theatre also offers an interactive view-from-seat feature, bars or kiosks on every level, restrooms on every level, a family restroom near the main bar on the Orchestra level, assisted listening devices, and access support at the Theatre Services desk. The building is a National Historic Landmark and is known for its atmospheric theatre design and historic architecture.
Parking information
Majestic Theatre - San Antonio does not have its own private parking lot. The venue points fans toward nearby downtown garages, advance parking reservations, and limited valet service for select shows.
Valet parking is available for select shows only. It opens 2 hours before showtime, must be purchased online in advance, and vehicles must be collected within 30 minutes after the performance. Event parking for Majestic & Empire Theatres can also be reserved in advance through ACE Parking.
The closest and most practical options are usually Houston Street Garage, St. Mary’s Garage, the City Tower Garage, and parking around the Mid-City / College Street garage area. St. Mary’s Garage is often one of the better value options, with discounted city parking listed at $5 after 5 PM on weeknights and all day Saturday and Sunday, although the city notes that an event rate may be $15.
Free parking may be available at St. Mary’s Garage on some Downtown Thursday / show-night situations, but it is excluded for major Broadway shows and sold-out performances. Free parking is not available at Houston Street Garage. We recommend arriving early or reserving parking in advance for Broadway shows, sold-out concerts, weekend performances, and downtown event nights.

For all events and non-subscriber Broadway tickets, tickets are sent by email as a PDF attached to the invoice. The PDF must be presented at entry for scanning. Printed PDFs are accepted at the door, but screenshots will not work because they can distort barcodes.
For select shows, printed tickets may be requested at the box office for $1 per ticket. Will Call tickets are held at the box office and require a photo ID matching the order name. Because delivery and transfer rules can vary by show, we should check the specific event listing before promising mobile-only access, hard tickets, or transfer availability.
